Castles In The Air

Sunlit
Cumulo-Nimbus clouds
Three dimensional
Castles-in-the air of
Golden hue
Sculpted to perfection
Against a backdrop of
Cerulean blue

I’m so ground down
And so earthbound
Yet here above me
A majestic reminder
Of sailing the skies
In flight

I capture the vision
Then close my eyes
To pray
For only prayer can
Hasten that day
When once again, I might
